Abstract:
The edge excitations in the fractional quantum Hall droplet are described by the chiral Lutteringer liquid theory. They can reveal the topological properties of the FQH state due to the edge-bulk correspondence. We systematically study the edge physics of the FQH states at different filling, such as 1/3, 5/2 et.al, with different methods, such as exact diagonalization, DMRG, Jack polynomials et.al and also tried different systems such as GaAs, grapheme, code atoms et.al. In this talk, I will briefly introduce our results for the edge physics in recent years.

About the speaker:
胡自翔，2003年本科毕业于西安 交通大学物理系，2007年在美国佛罗里达国家强磁场实验室联合培 养，2008年获浙江大学物理系博士学位，2009年至2012年 期间先后在韩国亚太理论物理研究中心，美国普林斯顿大学做博士后研究。2013年3月起任重庆大学威廉希尔williamhill官网“百人计划”特聘研究员。目前已在PRL,PRB等杂志上发表论文20余 篇，主持国家自然科学基金面上项目一项。
